2019 - Voice Assistant -A Search Engine Revolution




Ok Google, Hey Google, Alexa, Hi Siri, familiar Words right?
Revolution always changes the way traditional things work and so is the search engine traditional working.

Companies have changed the way things are done earlier. Searches become smarter and more elaborated and much more classified and so is the way of searching and doing things.

Voice Assistants are new search engine tools used by people for everyday searches. Not only searches Voice Assistants are capable of controlling appliances enable with IOT and they itself has some emotions controlling through Music and songs.


How It Started.


Radio Rex was the first voice activated toy released in 1911.
Another tools launched in 1961 was IBM Shoebox with speech recognition.


The first modern digital virtual assistant installed on a smartphone was Siri, which was introduced as a feature of the iPhone 4S on October 4, 2011.
And from there the voice search became a revolution.

Satisfaction with voice technology and voice assistants was high in the survey.


According to comScore, 50 percent of all searches will be voice searches by 2020.

Digital experiences made possible by virtual assistants are among the recent major technological advances and the most promising consumer trends.
Virtual assistants can provide a variety of services. These included:


• Give information such as weather, facts, z. As Wikipedia or IMDb, set an alarm, create task lists and shopping lists

• Listen to music from streaming services like Spotify and Pandora. Play radio stations; Read audiobooks


• Play videos, TV shows, or movies on a TV. In streaming mode Netflix

Voice Commerce Statistics


1. Voice Commerce reported sales of $ 1.8 billion last year, according to OC & C Strategy Consultants. By 2022, they should reach $ 40 billion.

The voice search revolution has been catalysed by the rise of smart speakers. Though similar technologies have been around for years, in 2017, sales of smart speakers more than tripled thanks to the rise of both Google Home and Amazon Echo. Smart speakers are almost exclusively reliant on voice commands to operate, conditioning people to resolve their questions and accomplish tasks using voice-based queries.
